Wes Edens is an American businessman and entrepreneur. He is co-founder and co-chief of Fortress Investment Group, a global investment management firm. He also owns the Milwaukee Bucks of the National Basketball Association (NBA).
Wes Edens was born in 1961 and raised in Oregon. He graduated from Oregon State University with a bachelor’s degree in finance. He began his career working in the leveraged buyout group at Lehman Brothers. In 1993, he co-founded Fortress Investment Group with Robert Kauffman and Randal Nardone. He also serves on the board of directors of New Residential Investment Corp., a real estate investment trust.
